The efficiency and cost to run hydronic heating with an electric heat pump can vary depending on the quality of your heat pump and the outside temperature, the lower the outdoor temperature the less efficient the electric heat-pump is. While the outdoor temperature does not effect the efficiency of a Natural Gas hydronic boiler.
